LEE STONE was born in Hobart 1975. At age five he was hit by a car while crossing the road. Lee suffered severe injuries and now lives life as a quadriplegic. He started writing seriously after taking a writers' workshop class in grade 12. At age 19, Stone self-published his debut book of poetry, For The Love Of Poetry. Stone returned to the publishing world in 2003 with his long overdue follow-up. Eight years after the debut, Midnight Moon was released.

Midnight Moon is a book of poetry that is unique in the sense that the poet bears his life story, his struggles, his pain, ambitions and his fantasies. Lee expresses himself with an unconditional attitude.
In a physical world with an unphysical body, Lee's writing is his body of expressional life. Stone writes his poetry for self-expression but his words are easily capable of inspiring and teaching others. Sometimes autobiographical, these poems tell stories that are filled with courage and insight, warmth, wisdom, and humour.

The book Midnight Moon showcases the blossoming talent of this ambitious and admirable young poet. Obtain copies through your favourite bookshop, or directly from the author at PO Box 308 Glenorchy, Tas 7010. Cost is $20 plus postage.
