Born in Yorkshire, England, I have lived in Australia for almost forty years. I moved to The Tamar Valley in 2007.

My novels are inspired by history, my heritage, tall sailing ships and travel.

My first three novels were published in hardback by Robert Hale in London.

I am available for workshops and author talks. A nominal fee will be charged.

News update:

My latest novel, 'The Condor's Feather' was accepted by Robert Hale in London in August 2008.

It will be published in hardback in 2009.

I am awaiting news of my other manuscript which is currently with my agent in London (also August 2008).

My next work will  be a squel to this age-of-sail nautical adventure . It is set in 1803.
