Books Read Recently - 2005/07/06 11:58 Around The World In 80 Dates By Jennifer Cox

This is an amusing and true story of a lady dismayed by the lack of finding a 'date' she finds suitable. Jennifer contacts travel and publicity agents to arrange a trip around the world to find the perfect date.
After many months of work she ultimately arranges to meet 80 men over all the continents. The book is a continuous laugh, particularly the way some of the 'dates' behave. Quite a few dates wish to marry her. However, she only finds one true love and eventually marries this guy.
The speed of travel and her considerable skill in arranging all the encounters are illuminating and remarkable.
The style of writing is enchanting and a real pleasure to read, couldn't put the book down until I had finished same.
This author can write and is not boring to the reader.
