Details for Submissions for the 2008 Literary Agent will

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Submissions close on FRIDAY XX XXXBER.With the support of the State Government through Arts @ Work,
members of the Tasmanian Writers' Centre are
invited to submit proposals to the 2008 Literary Agent Program. To submit a proposal you must: - Have a well-developed manuscript (of prose fiction or non-fiction, genre fiction for adults or young adults, and poetry.
- Provide a well-crafted 'pitch' for your manuscript (this is intended to attract the reader's attention, and could be the 'blurb' that would appear on the back of your book) What's a "pitch"? Click here.
- On the cover page indicate the word page length of the whole manuscript.
- Submit the first twenty pages of your manuscript ;
- Submissions must be typed in 11 point Arial and at least one & a half spacing between lines with 2.5cm margins all round.
- DO NOT STAPLE OR BIND YOUR SUBMISSION, and PLEASE DO NOT PLACE YOUR SUBMISSION IN A PLASTIC FOLDER;
- Submissions need be held together only with a paper clip then placed in an A4 envelope;
Submissions will be accepted until Friday XX Xxember.Each Submission must be accompanied by an $15 fee to cover postage and administration. Submissions must be posted or hand-delivered to:
