Time: 2 - 5 :00pm Venue: Forth Bridge Hotel, Main Rd, Forth Cost: $20 members; $40 non-members Michael will focus on the need to find one’s own voice and to discover one’s own style. He will also share his experiences in the publishing game and lead discussions on pieces written by workshop participants.
You will need: A pad and pen, or a laptop, to do some writing during the workshop.
You can expect: To write a new piece about something you remember from childhood and have informal discussions about favourite writers, books and the use of first person and third person, language styles, plotting, detail, flow etc. |
